Affinities

This spotlight exhibition at the Musée du Louvre pairs around fifty Islamic objects, spanning the ninth through seventeenth centuries, with Western craft traditions. Displayed alongside European decorative arts, the selected works reveal mutual artistic influences across light, color, and sculpture while highlighting historical connections and shared aesthetic fascinations between the regions.
