The de Young Museum presents a major reinstallation celebrating Indigenous American art across four themed galleries. The exhibition bridges more than a millennium of creative traditions by displaying historic ceramics, textiles, and carvings alongside contemporary commissions. Shaped by Native scholars and communities, the displays focus on connection to place, regional practices, Maya iconography, and Teotihuacan mural conservation.
