Andrea Canepa transforms the temporary protective tarpaulin of the Palacio de Cristal into a large-scale artistic intervention for Museo Reina Sofía. Inspired by the ancestral textile wrapping rituals of the Paracas culture, the work features enlarged photographs of Canepa's oil paintings depicting bound cloths. The installation challenges traditional concepts of complete visual transparency by concealing the historic structure in symbolic layers.
