The Costume Institute's spring 2026 exhibition pairs garments from The Met's collection with artworks from across the museum's departments to explore the relationship between clothing and the body. Organized around thematic body types, it is the inaugural exhibition in nearly 12,000 square feet of newly constructed galleries adjacent to the Great Hall.
