Delicately Drawn: Alexandra Bowers and Matthew Hunt

This exhibition features intricate, painstakingly rendered drawings by Phoenix-based artists Alexandra Bowers and Matthew Hunt. Bowers burns detailed depictions of Sonoran Desert flora and fauna onto wooden surfaces as tributes to the natural world. In contrast, Hunt uses pencil to construct surreal scenes that reveal uncanny, animalistic visions of human nature at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
