Maya-Kaqchikel artist Edgar Calel presents a site-specific installation on the Bluhm Family Terrace featuring a traditional K'ojay wooden structure alongside ceramic corn, a wooden turtle sculpture, and other symbolic objects. The work integrates Mayan space-time concepts and Indigenous relationality, placing Kaqchikel thought in dialogue with Chicago's modernist urban landscape.
