Nearly 50 photographs from the museum's collection reveal how 19th- and early 20th-century camera work built the lasting image of Paris. The display traces the city's modern evolution through early monument views, scenes of the 1871 Paris Commune, and Eugène Atget's documentation of an urban center undergoing transformation.
