Artist Carly Glovinski presents a mural inspired by the historic garden of writer Celia Thaxter on Appledore Island. Created after Glovinski spent time painting en plein air and tending the site, the work at the Farnsworth Art Museum celebrates gardening as a creative, restorative practice and honors the care required to cultivate a living ecosystem.
