Forming Nature, Nature Formed

This exhibition at the Portland Art Museum showcases sculptures crafted from wood, clay, metal, glass, and neon. Drawn from the institution's regional, indigenous, global, and contemporary holdings, the featured works examine how artists interpret the environment. The displays range from realistic renderings of flora and fauna to abstract reflections on natural forces, alongside a contemplative text piece by Marie Watt.
