Greater Than the Sum: Practices of Gathering, Reuse, and Assemblage

This group exhibition at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center explores artistic practices centered on collecting, transforming, and assembling materials. Featuring works by Carolina Caycedo, Arthur Simms, Judith Scott, Kea Tawana, and Lenore Tawney, the presentation uses sculptures, textiles, found objects, and collages to highlight how reconfigured items gain new meanings and connections within environmental, personal, and community contexts.
