As the artist's first North American museum survey, this exhibition highlights six decades of work by influential Korean painter Ha Chong-Hyun. The display demonstrates how he uses varied tools, gravity, and force on large-scale canvases to test the limits of abstract painting and investigate material interactions. Visitors to the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco can trace the development of his physical, tactile approach.
