The Hammer Museum hosts a solo exhibition featuring an installation, a newly created sculpture, and a short film by Brazilian artist Gê Viana. Centered around her video work set in rural Maranhão, the display examines how sound, faith, and reggae culture intersect with everyday life. Through her multidisciplinary practice, Viana addresses historical gaps in institutional records to celebrate Afro-Brazilian heritage.
