An exhibition presenting more than 110 contact sheets and 20 enlargements documenting Peter Hujar's creative journey from his early career through his influential work in the East Village. Many sheets bear editing marks that reveal Hujar's artistic process and approach to portraiture, chronicling the evolution of both the artist and the cultural landscape from the 1950s through the 1980s.
