Jeewi Lee Residual Memories GASAG Kunstpreis 2026

The Berlinische Galerie presents Jeewi Lee's first institutional solo exhibition in Berlin, featuring picture series, sculptures, and site-specific installations. Winner of the GASAG Art Prize 2026, the artist investigates sand as both an everyday element and a vital, increasingly scarce global resource. Her work transforms traces of time embedded in simple materials into contemplative visual studies combining scientific research and philosophy.
