MANOLO MILLARES Personaje caído I

As part of its Single Piece series, the Museo Reina Sofía presents a focused display centered on Personaje caído I by Manolo Millares. The presentation highlights this 1970 mixed-media work on hessian, created near the end of the artist's life. The exhibition explores how the piece's textured, crumpled fabric and dramatic palette confront themes of violence, mortality, and political repression.
