Leading Belgian photographer Stephan Vanfleteren created sixteen new works inspired by the Mauritshuis collection, placing one photograph in each gallery room alongside the masterworks that inspired them. The exhibition explores traces left by mistakes, not just in painting but also in world history and human lives.
