The Kimbell's inaugural photography exhibition surveys the medium's first century of exploration and discovery, from the rise of the daguerreotype and calotype in the 1840s to the age of modernism between the World Wars. It presents over 150 images drawn from the French national library's collection, one of the world's most comprehensive photographic holdings.
