An eight-channel installation at the Walker Art Center centers on artist Suzanne Bocanegra's reimagining of Judy Garland's surviving wardrobe tests from the movie Valley of the Dolls. In this work, eight women replicate the actor's self-conscious actions and movements. The installation blends their personalities with Garland's, creating a meditative reflection on connection and intimacy across time.
