Americana: Photographs 1850-1950 is on view at Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia, United States, until November 1, 2026.

Drawn from the museum's own collection, a century of American photography from 1850 to 1950 showing how individuals and communities used the camera to document their lives and define their place in a changing nation.
