Located at the end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, this art museum was originally established in 1876 in conjunction with the Centennial Exposition. It manages a collection of more than 240,000 works spanning Asian, European, and American origin, encompassing paintings, sculpture, armor, photography, and decorative arts.
